"How you are feeling now that 5th grade is almost over and you are heading off to middle school?"6/4/2014
"I enjoyed learning math and reading. In 6th grade I am looking forward to having more teachers and more people."
"I enjoyed learning about things in social studies, science, math, and reading. I can't wait to learn 7th grade math. I am looking forward to having more friends and teachers. I am a little nervous about 6th grade and lockers, and 5 minutes to get to class, and 7 periods." "I enjoy learning how to divide fractions from whole numbers. I look forward in 6th grade doing band, social studies. I will have a lot of fun in 6th grade." "In 5 grade right now is fine and I enjoy learning about the engineering and in six grade I look forward for more engineering." "I am sad that 5th grade is over but excited to go into 6th grade. I liked learning about Newton's 3 laws. I am looking forward to having PE every day." "5th grade was a lot of fun I really enjoyed multiplying and dividing decimals and science and reading. I can't wait till I get to run the mile every Wednesday! and I can't wait till band starts." "I am really sad that I am leaving 5th grade, especially elementary school. I enjoyed learning about all these people and my teachers. I am looking forward to be able to move and do choir. I am also looking forward to all of my new classes. Another thing I am sad about is recess going away." "I enjoyed learning about multiplying fractions. I can't wait to have lockers in 6th grade. I am also looking forward to new teachers in 6th grade." "I feel relived from homework but I am a little sad that 5th grade is ending. What I mean is that this my last few days of elementary school, I guess I'm just sad that I can get educated there again but I am excited to go to middle school." "I'm a little scared of going to middle school. I am happy that school is almost over and next year I'll be with my brother again. I'm looking forward to summer and having no homework. I did enjoy my years of learning at Mary Woodward and most of the teachers but, its time to move on." "I am really going to miss this school. I have been here sense Kindergarten, so I know every thing about this school. I will miss all of the teachers I have had. I have learned a lot this year and the previous years but I think the thing that has helped me the most this year is Math. I got a lot of help and I don't hate math as much as I used to because now it makes more sense. The thing I am looking forward to is starting a new year and meeting even more people. All of the classes will probably be fun to, but there will be lots of big Kids so I am also scared." "Over the days I have enjoyed poetry, State fair, and so much for fun. I'm feeling better about middle school and I'm dying to get a locker. Now thinking back I have had many teachers for subjects but the one and only Mrs. Miller my homeroom teacher. I was so thankful to have her and Ms. Frascella." "I am glad fifth grade is almost over but I am also a little nervous about going into sixth grade. In fifth grade I enjoyed learning math, reading, and social studies. I am looking forward to math the most in sixth grade because it is the easiest for me." "I am sad that I'm leaving elementary school. And I'm also a little bit nervous for sixth grade! I loved 5th grade and loved learning about pioneers and our rocket building is also something I love! I also had the best 5th grade teacher Mrs. Miller so you made it even better! I also love garden and I'm really going to miss that. I love learning about animals in science. And I loved all the experiments we did in science. Overall I had a great fifth grade year!" "I enjoyed learning about states for our State Reports. I also liked learning about Newton's 3 laws. I look forward to playing in band." "I liked making friends here. I really had a lot of fun. I will be moving to California in the summer so I am sad." "The last few days of school has been pretty good. I'm excited to go to middle school so I can met new friends, see friends and also have lockers. The 5th grade was/is fine but now I'm read for middle school." "5th grade was fun but 6th grade is harder. The rockets are fun, the egg drop is fun and P.E. is also. 6th grade has more challenges than 5th grade because it has more kids." "I'm feeling happy that school is almost over. I enjoyed learning math. In 6th grade I am looking forward to skipping at least 6th grade math." "I am sad that I have to leave, but I am glad that my teacher, Mrs. Miller has given me such a great 5th grade experience. At first, I was scared to go to 6th grade, but now that I have seen what a great school Fowler is, and have had such a supportive teacher, I am not scared to go to 6th grade, I'm excited." "I am sad that I am leaving this school and a little nervous going to middle school but overall I am waiting to see what it looks like." "I am looking forward to middle school to see my other friends from Metzger , and CFT. I will miss all my teachers and my buddy Leah. I am feeling nervous about the whole moving situation but I will come back to Mary Woodward soon. This week has been exciting. We are ending fifth grade strong. So far we have learned about how to start making our rockets and we are doing an egg drop contest. I can’t wait!!!! We have gotten rid of some of our textbooks which means we are ending subjects faster and faster.
